This is a recent picture of yours truly playing with the Jazz Unlimited Orchestra at the Heartland Cafe in Chicago. If you checked out my Bio on the Musicians page I talked about the band over there. That was a pretty good night as I remember.

A Saturday night casual gig a number years ago, at a local banquet hall. That's Bret Sher at the drums, and Bill Corston playing bass. The pianist is, by now, unknown to me.

The Giant Killers Horn Section at various outdoor venues. We really played a lot of these types of gigs, usually starting in May and finishing in September or early October.

From left: Glen Morimoto, (Trumpet), Scott Meyers, ( Trombone). Jeff Newell, (Tenor Sax). Me on Alto Sax. Chip Gdalman, (Baritone Sax)

From left: Jim Teister, (Trumpet). I'm on Tenor Sax here. We usually had two trumpets and three saxes. And a trombone when Scott Meyers was available.

Music Unlimited: From left: Greg Ferguson, Me, Beckie, Bob Untiedt, Nick Massaracchia, John Blasucci. Greg was replacing Lee Blasucci and Bob was the extra on this gig.

The Music Unlimited regulars for most of those many years we were together. Starting at the left: Lee Blaucci, John Blasucci, Beckie, Me, and Nick Massaracchia.

These two pictures are from the fall of 1977. The gig band scene back then was very active and we were averaging two or three gigs a week with each of us working a day gig as well. They are typical of the many jobbing dates we were involved in. In both from the left it's Nick, Me, John, and Lee.
